Prince's Park, Launceston

Some pictures of Launceston.
The fountain is in Prince's Park and was imported from England in 1849.
The statue, from 1997, is of Dr Pugh, who was the first doctor to use ether as an anaesthetic in 1847.
The splendidly decrepit ex-church is Chalmers Church. Build by the Free Church of Scotland in 1859, it was deconsecrated in 1981.
