Pharmacists

There is a debate in the United States (where else) about whether Pharmacists can follow their conscience and not dispense contraceptives. It seems to me a bit narrow minded  and late in the day to be having a conscience about what is sold in a pharmacist’s shop. Look around. There are shelves full of cosmetics of no medical value. There are aisles of ‘health’ products with no scientific backing for their claims. There are rows of ‘natural’ products that rely it seems on folklore and witchcraft for their efficacy. And they want to worry on other people’s behalf about contraception!.

Why I don't like Supermarkets - 1

It is impossible to buy just shampoo. Not only are there the functionally different type – for oily hair, for dry hair, (but not yet for pubic hair) but they are all loaded with fruit and vegetables.

I don’t mind other people wanting lemon and sassafras in their shampoo, but I don’t want to be seen to be endorsing the use of fruits etc in my shampoo. I want to vote with my dollars not to buy organically enhanced shampoos but I can’t in the supermarket. Perhaps I should try the Body Shop!

Email Test

Just to see if this system works and I’ve remembered the passwords correctly.

Ideas

1) View of Jesus from his apparent father. Cheated by Mary, neglected afterwards. Has this been done before? Format short story-radio play?

2) As well as being pattern recognition machines, we are competitive machines. We seem not to value anything, but we make a competition of it. Either formal or informal.
